Sokenji Temple
Oda Nobukatsu consecrated this temple of Rinzai sect Buddhism in Kiyosu for memorial services for his deceased father, Oda Nobunaga. Later it was moved here from Kiyosu. Nine items from among the temple's treasures, including the portrait of Lord Oda Nobunaga, are designated as cultural properties by Aichi Prefecture Government. In 1871, an exposition of a modest scale, the very first in japan, was held at this temple.
