Counting from Shinagawa-jyuku, the 22nd relay station on the Tokaido was Fujieda-jyuku. Fujieda-jyuku in fact consisted of nine towns along the Tokaido, containing some 47 inns and two honjin (inns officially designated for use by daimyo).
Fujieda-jyuku was furnished with two administration offices, which could be used to transfer cargo to the next relay station (in 1803 recorded history). These were found at two locations, the towns of Kamidenma and Shimodenma.
Because Fujieda-jyuku, the relay station, was also the castle town of Tanaka Castle, in addition to the east and west entrances a wooden gate and guard house ware located on the road leading to Tanaka Castle.
